Trading and investing has been an exciting career. Starting 20+ years ago, I learned from the school of hard knocks. Although experience is the best teacher, in the early years I often questioned that theory.

But learning from early mistakes and later successes, I always had a passion to help others.

I saw a major need. With roughly fifty percent of all households owning investments, relying on investments for retirement, or trading in the market actively, I knew these individuals must have knowledge. Otherwise, they would surely lose. Relying on a financial advisor can be nothing short of financial suicide.

The passion to help others understand how to invest and trade successfully led to writing  ‘Charting and Technical Analysis’. Most people do not have a desire to trade, but in modern times it is imperative to know how to protect your investments. This book allows the individual to learn when to invest and when to keep their money safe. Without this knowledge, investors may buy a mutual fund or other investment at the top of the market, only to watch the value decline, sometimes for years.

Writing what I know continues to be more enjoyable than I ever dreamed possible. I have since completed two more trading and investing books, Trading the Trends, and Common Sense Investing.
